Guzzo statement for immediate release

Thank you to everyone who supported my campaign, especially my husband and family for their support, your time, energy, and belief meant everything to me. While tonight’s result is not what we hoped for, I respect the decision of the voters and congratulate Brian Lorenz on his victory.

This race was never just about winning, but rather it was about alerting residents that their right to vote on local zoning changes was taken away from them in 2025 and to fight to retore and strengthen those rights and standing up for our values, strengthening our community, and working to make Ohio a better place to live and work. That mission does not end tonight.

 

I remain committed to serving our community and restoring and strengthening our rights and supporting our conservative Republican principles that bring freedom, opportunity, accountability, and common-sense leadership to our state. Thank you again for your trust and support.
